Viola Johnson is a leatherwoman, vampire, and author who has been active in the leather BDSM scene for three decades. A mentor and confidante to many in the fetish world, she has a particular fondness for the boys of our community, and those who choose to serve as slaves and submissives. Viola is the wife of Jill Carter, International Ms Leather 1996, and the owned property of Mistress Victoria Gayton.

Viola had the distinction of winning the Lifetime Achievement Award from Pantheon of Leather and The National Leather Association, making her the only person to receive both awards in the same year. In the year 2000, she received the Pantheon of Leather Woman of the Year award. Viola is the author of two books Dhampir and To Love, To Obey, To Serve. Currently, she serves as an advisory board member for the Ms. World Leather Organization and as head judge for the contest.

Jack Rinella - Bio

Jack Rinella, author of The Master's Manual, The Compleat Slave, Partners In Power, and The Toy Bag Guide to Clips and Clamps is a freelance writer and college instructor.  A sought-after lecturer, Jack has presented across the country, including the Leather Leadership Conference, Black Rose, Bash at the Beach, Beat Me in St. Louis, TES, Headspace in Bloomington, IN, PEER in Cincinnati, and Menamore Leather/Levi Club in Wilmington, NC.

Born in upstate New York of Italian-American parents, he's been a high school and college teacher, a drug rehabilitation counselor, a cook, a computer salesman, a Catholic seminarian, a Pentecostal minister, an advertising copywriter, a graphic designer, and has done stints at printing, publishing, telemarketing, head-hunting, and computer consulting.

He has been active in the Leather scene since 1983, is a founding member of MAsT-Chicago, an associate member of the Chicago Hellfire Club, and has written extensively about our lifestyle for more than twelve years. He is a weekly columnist for Gay Chicago Magazine and his writing has also appeared in Drummer, in The (San Francisco) Sentinel, and in Philadelphia Gay News. Jack also serves on the board of directors of the Leather Leadership Conference.

He lives on the North side of Chicago where he passes the time writing, cruising, and falling in love whenever he can.

Rapacious - Bio

Rapacious is a male dominant, professional whip artist and martial arts instructor; with extensive experience in bullwhips, knives, and martial arts weapons. With his submissive Purple, Rapacious performs martial arts, knives and bullwhip demonstrations and lectures for D/s and vanilla events. 

Rap has over 40 years of martial arts experience and has studied in Okinawa, Mainland Japan, Europe, and in the US.  Rapacious has earned black belts in three martial arts, the highest being 6th degree Master Rank.   Rap is retired military with a broad back background in close combat and hand-to-hand combat; also a close a combat trainer for instructors. He is familiar with the human body and knows how to hurt, heal and please.

Rapacious has been involved with the BDSM community for 19 years and well-known in the Southeast BDSM community.  Rapacious is a member of the Orlando Power Exchange and has previously served on the board of directors.  Also he has provided the bullwhip and knife seminar at the Orlando Bash for the last 6 years. Rapacious is a graduate of the University of the State of New York and currently lives in Orlando, Florida.

Mistress Max Rulz - Bio

Mistress Max Rulz has been active in the BDSM lifestyle for 20 years. She has produced and hosted her own BDSM radio show, “The Leather Hour” on KPFT 90.1 FM Houston, TX / 89.5 Galveston, has appeared on FOX news, and founded a woman’s BDSM support group called “Just Us -Women in Kink”. Dave, AKA Rope-Geek is a polyamorous, professional computer geek, lives in the greater Boston and fascinated with bondage and control. Trigger the Human Horse - Bio

Trigger T.H.E. Horse discovered pony play with various BDSM play in the 70’s which has changed over the years.  There is a wide variety of play enjoyed, but it is being a horse that is his passion, coming from within.  Equestrians have told him many times “you are a horse; you have a horse’s soul in a human body”.  He has spent weeks “AS” a horse 24/7 immersed in the role, and treated AS a horse.  Trigger has presented workshops on pony play all across the U.S.A for many groups and organizations, such as, Black Rose, Vegas Women of Leather, QSM, and MichChatOhs, & Leather Retreat.  He filmed for the documentary “Born in A Barn” and has been in several videos for Magic Pony Productions.  He has been on the Tyra Banks show, VH1, HBO’s Real Sex, Playboys Sexcetera, Sky One’s Yanky Panky and others. Mr. Meanie (a.k.a.
